What Gifts Can Achieve
$100 pays for several props and 3 music stand lights for orchestra pit (or similar equipment.)
$500 pays a chorus member or rehearsal pianist for six rehearsals.
$1,000 pays for orchestra parts for one opera.
$5,000 provides wigs & costumes for several principal characters.
$10,000 brings a world-class guest artist to star in a production and assist with community engagement & public school visits for 3-4 weeks prior to their opera performances.
$50,000 sponsors an Emerging Artist in Residence to work in our company for one calendar year – providing them with vocal coaching, diction lessons, and other interdisciplinary training such as conducting, stage directing, or lighting design according to their areas of interest.
$60,000 allows for the commission of a new opera composition to be premiered by Opera Today!
$100,000 could cover all production costs (casting, directing, musicians & crew) for one fully staged opera performance.
