  • King Gyros - Their Jr. Gyro Combo is enough food to fuel a full-sized adult.

  • Pho Shi - Beef bone broth with rice noodles & vegetables always hits the spot.

  • Taj Mahal - Flavorful pakora, curries, saag, tikka masala, and, of course, naan.

  • Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo - You don’t have to be or have a child to have a blast visiting the lions, tigers, red pandas, monkeys, otters, penguins, stingrays, giraffes, and peafowl.

  • Science Central - Marvel at the amount of hands-on learning you can pack into this 70,000 square foot old power plant.

  • Botanical Conservatory - A unique oasis downtown housing 2,000 plants.

  • Fort Wayne Museum of Art - Nearly 5,000 American paintings, sculptures, cut glass, drawings, prints, and photographs.

  • TinCaps Baseball - This > 8,000 person Minor League Baseball stadium hosts over 600 events per year (66 of which are minor league baseball games.)

  • Old Fort - A faithful copy of the post built by American troops in 1815 near it original site. Volunteer actors reenact life in the fort 200 years ago.

  • Promenade Park - Walk along (or in) the Doermer Kid’s Canal and across the river to the accessible PNC playground, rent kayaks or bicycles from Fort Wayne Outfitters, or grab a DORA drink at the pavilion and play some outdoor ping pong while a band plays at the bandshell.

  • Sunken Gardens at Lakeside Park - Built in the 1920s and reconstructed in 2005, this National Rose Garden holds more than 2,000 rose plants in more than 150 varieties.

  • Black Pine Animal Sanctuary - Home to over 75 captive-raised exotic and wild animals. Paved trails allow you to visit habitats for wolves, foxes, tigers, bobcats, and bears.

  • Fort Wayne Ballet - Indiana’s longest-running professional ballet company produces traditional and modern events year-round and offers dance training from American Ballet Theatre certified teachers.

  • Festivals in Headwaters Park - Headwaters Park frequently is host to a festival, concert, wedding, reunion or picnic and houses an ice skating rink in the winter.

  • Johnny Appleseed Festival - Free entrance provides access to handmade crafts, period demonstrations, trappers & traders, a farmers market, tons of food vendors, and music or storytelling at 3 different stages.

  • Fantasy of Lights in Franke Park - Each winter, drive through a 2-mile path of a million LED lights forming holiday light scenes up to 30 feet tall.

  • Hiking Trails - Visit the website or use their app to locate the trail nearest you that’s part of a collection of more than than 125 miles of walking or biking trails that wind through the community.

  • Public Art Trail - This free web app helps you find and appreciate more than 150 public murals and sculptures around town. Check in to locations and you can earn stickers!

  • Fort Wayne Outfitters - Rent canoes or kayaks and rent, buy, or repair bicycles at this depot located in the middle of both a trail and Saint Marys River.

  • Sweet Breeze canal boat tour - Tour the Fort Wayne rivers and learn about the city from the water.

  • Kuehnert Dairy - Tour a working dairy farm and each fall solve the themed corn maze, let your kids play in the play areas, consume ice cream & award-winning grilled cheese sandwiches and then go on a hay ride. On your way out, buy a pumpkin.
